After roles as lead guitarist in the Brown Root Seed Company , Ron Neil and the Eleventh Hour and lead vocal/guitars in Senatobia (Performing Songwriter Top 12 DIY pick), musician/songwriter Phil Lomac broke away to start a solo career with his 2005 self-titled release.
